It’s moving day, cleaning out time! If you missed the first two blogs in the moving day series, Preparing for the Move, or Packing tips, you can catch up on them now. And now it is time for part III, cleaning out.
Moving Day, Cleaning Out
Right before your move is a great time to clean out and purge items in your home. Every item that you donate or dispose of before your move is one less item to unpack when the time comes! We want to help provide a starting point for you to begin your research on how to go about this process. The following organizations in the Charlotte area will either accept donations, recycle or dispose of items you no longer need. Leading up to your move, make sure to thoroughly research all the options available to you in your specific area to find the best next home for your belongings.
