Light the Knights Festival

Holiday Light Displays
Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health features 4 million LED Christmas lights strewn across a four-mile course. The display features lights synchronized to Christmas-themed music and is open rain or shine. Tune in to 101.3 FM to enjoy the synchronized lights and music. Purchase your tickets here.
McAdenville Christmas Town Lights
It’s the 67th year of Christmas Town USA in McAdenville. The lights are on every evening from 5:30pm-10pm starting December 1 and ending on December 26th. Don’t miss the #4 of 10 public holiday lights display in the US as featured in USA Today. Learn more here.
Holidays at the Garden
Head on over to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden for the annual Holidays at the Garden. Guests can enter during 2 time blocks each evening, 5-7pm or 7-9pm. Stroll through the dazzling lights, sparkling fountains, and holiday decor throughout the garden. Roast s’mores around an outdoor fire, grab a snack at the food trucks, or shop at the Garden Store & Wine Nook for unique gifts. More Fun Events
Visit The Ballantyne Hotel for the annual Gingerbread Lane display. View an enchanting display of gingerbread creations from novice to pro bakers. The display is free to visit and open daily from 11am-7pm from December 1st to December 26th. Vote for your favorite entries with $1 minimum donation per vote. All proceeds will benefit Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.

Winter Wonderettes at Armour Street Theatre
The Wonderettes are back! This seasonal celebration finds the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. Build Your Own Menorah
The Chabad of Lake Norman is hosting a Menorah workshop for kids at the Home Depot in Cornelius. The event takes place on Sunday, December 11th at 2pm. More info here.
Chanukah Festival at Symphony Park
Chabad of Charlotte is hosting this family friendly event which includes music, a fire show, latkes, donuts, dreidels, and the lighting of the giant LED menorah.The event takes place on Sunday, December 18th at 4:30pm.
Menorah Lighting at Stonecrest
Meet at the fountain plaza from 5:30pm-6:30pm for a free, fun, family celebration. The event includes a laser show, LED juggler, music, latkes, and donuts.
Waxhaw Menorah Lighting
Waxhaw is celebrating the 8th annual menorah lighting on Wednesday, December 21st from 5:30pm-6:30pm. This event is presented by the Ballantyne Jewish Center and is family friendly. There will be donuts, latkes, hot drinks, crafts, and music.
