Traveling can be stressful, especially in one of the nation’s busiest airports. The Club CLT is the newest edition to Charlotte Douglas International Airport expanding its array of eateries and places to relax. To make your traveling experience smoother, we also provided a few tips to help navigate the large hub.
Located in Terminal A, anybody flying through CLT can access the new lounge with the Priority Pass network, AAA Members Discount, and Reward program or buy a $45 day pass. The amenities offered are restrooms, a shower, three private work pods, a full-service bar, and a dining area. Once you enter the lounge, all the amenities are complimentary including coffee, drinks, and food.
The Charlotte airport has undergone many renovations that are continuing until 2035. Part of these renovations is to expand passenger pick-up and drop-off lanes. The airport also offers a lot of options for parking and if you are picking up from the airport, anyone can utilize the free cell phone lot while you wait for the person you intend to pick up.
The airport has plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from whether you are on a time crunch or have time to sit and relax. The center of the airport has the most of these options. For a grab-and-go option head to 1897 market which also has a sit-down restaurant. Some other quick options are Cinnabon, Jamba Juice, and Starbucks. If you want your Carolina BBQ fix, Brookwood Farms BBQ is a great option.
If you are looking for a dining experience, Beaudevin located in the Atrium is a wine bar serving up small plates and charcuterie. Sushi lover? Try Hissho Sushi at the First In Flight bar. Craving a beer and a burger? Look no further than Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar also with several locations throughout Charlotte. They offer take-away and sit-down options where you can drink local beer located in Concourse C.
When it comes to shopping, you can find a variety of stores to fit your needs. Head to Brooks Brothers to freshen up your wardrobe or MAC Cosmetics if you need to restock on makeup. Other options include a Kiehl’s store, The Body Shop, and Best Buy Express.
Looking to travel soon? CLT serves approximately 178 nonstop destinations around the globe and welcomes more than 50 million passengers annually. Charlotte is also a great place for those looking to travel by air and land. We hope these tips can help you travel stress-free.
