The Charlotte Observer has done a wonderful job over the past few weeks getting the word out about the great need of local charities in Mecklenburg County. Saturday, December 5th from 9:30 until 1:00 at Christ Church on Providence Road, area craftsmen, local caterers, church members and the folks from Common Grounds Market will gather at the annual Christ Church Bazaar to sell their wares to raise money for needy families. There will be everything from delicious home made soups, cakes and casseroles to handcrafted pottery, jewelry, Advent Wreaths and garlands for your front door. All proceeds will go directly back into our community. Fill your freezer, decorate your home for the holidays all while helping neighbors who are less fortunate. Dickens Mitchener agents will be there in full force helping you find the perfect gift for your teachers, neighbors, family and friends.
